How much to invest in gold?

Although the gold price varies even during a single day, gold remains a good choice for investors with a long-term vision. Even in times of crisis, gold keeps its value, which can't be said for shares, for instance. After all, we're talking about a rather rare raw material.

 

Each investor knows diversification is extremely important. Proverbially speaking, not putting all your eggs in one basket. But how much of your capital should you invest in gold? Though it's possible to go for 5 %, it seems 15 to 20 % is ideal.
